1. In the reading Sanders explained the way to cut a room in half by building a wall with such clarity and precision that you can tell carpentry is something he loves. Getting this love of carpentry from his dad he felt that doing the job right in a way will honor his life.
2. Sanders talks about his fathers death and what he felt and then goes into his love of carpentry. Through the story he connects carpentry with everything he talks about.
3. Dawn stone was a stone earlier humans used as a hammer, and this shows the evolution of things a simple as a hammer has evolved over time.

1. Must be willing to think
2. Have to have a creative drive.
3. Thinking unique is key.
4. Whatever you thinking about must be original from you.
5. Creative minds think alike.

2. She made her research by collecting entries from the work place.She was trying to see the level of creativity in a regular day. What was interesting is that she had a big experiment going on.
3. Her audience is most likely businesses trying to find out how to innovate better or how to motivate their employees.

1. When Smiley was a child chores never was something she worried about so when she had to start doing the shock that she had amazing although she thinks chores are good.
2. Smiley used her husband child hood and hers to explain her argument and she also used one about a child and chores.
3. Smiley used questions to get to her readers and to make them think about what their opinion on the whole subject, and really don't relate to her caused I always cleaned as a child but I understand where she getting at.

1. Goldberg wanted to explain to people even if you writing and you feel like what you writing is bad just continue because eventually you will break that barrier and will start to progress.
2. Her audience is most like student probably students in college that are discouraged or having trouble writing.

1. Powell wanted to expressed how hard it was to come up from what he went through, his unfair advantages and racism. He wanted to make his audience know that it was not easy and he did have to work hard to achieve. I believe he wanted to inspire all the people that think they can't do it because of what they have or their disadvantages.
2. I think he wanted to effect the people that don't have a lot growing up and hardships, in a way to motivate them.
3. The tone of the writer is endurance, and motivation. Never having the will to quit but the will to keep fighting, and that is why Colin Powell is a great man. My respect for him is a great respect because he showed many people how to not quit.

In the news OK City

Well I think that art is art whether if it is religious or miscellanious. If the city funds other arts shows and galleries they should fund that one too.
